Materials & Care

You can find all care instructions on the inner care tag of your Oodie, however standard care options for our Oodies are as follows:
  • Hand / machine wash using cold to warm water (40°c maximum is suggested)
  • If machine washing, ensure a gentle cycle is selected
  • Use only very mild detergents (approved for wool/ silk)
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Avoid mixing with other colours
  • Do not iron
If you really want to best preserve the cuddliness and softness of the Oodie for as long as possible, we recommend hand washing it in cold water.

Need Help Finding Your Size? 

Determine your size by slipping into your favourite undergarments and measuring directly on your body. Consult our size guide and product features for the perfect fit.

Measuring guide

Front Length: Take a tape measure and start from top of your shoulder and extend it down to the length listed in the size chart.

Chest: Measure around the widest part of your chest. Typically, 2-3 centimetres below your underarm.

Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waistline.

Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hips.

Inseam Length: Measure from the crotch down to the bottom of your ankle.

Body Length: Measure from the shoulder down to your crotch.

    Orange stains

    I had been wanting this sleep tee for a long time, and when I finally got it, I was really disappointed to find that it came with orange stains. I’ve ordered from this store many times before and never had an issue, but this really sucks.

    The orange stains do wash out!

    I was reluctant to order as I read other reviews saying there’s orange marks on the sleep Tees , I even emailed customer service saying I was concerned about buying them. They said they would help me if I needed but they usually recommend washing before wear anyway. I bought Hello Kitty and Kuromi. Both had the orange marks on the fabric and I was gutted as I bought one as a present for my ill daughter. Customer service said to wash them and if I still had issues they would help. So the stains did wash out, hooray! However as this was a gift I had to give it in the sealed packaging, discover it was stained, apologise and then take it back (to wash) which wasn’t ideal.

    A tad disappointed 😞

    I've bought from the Oodie store many times and I love their sleep tees. I have never had any issues in the past but unfortunately, the Kuromi Sleep Tee arrived with orange staining as others have mentioned.

    The customer service were lovely and I arranged to send it back for a replacement only to receive another Kuromi Sleep Tee with the same orange staining.

    I really wanted to love this sleep tee as much as my others but unfortunately, I won't be able to wear this one.

    Shame the wear on it is bargain basement cheap.

    Super cute print, who doesn't love some Sanrio? Feels gorgeous at first touch, really divine and I was so happy to wear it. Until it was pilling INSIDE AND OUT after only two washes no matter how carefully and gently it was washed and put to dry. Your average stains? Don't bother, they're not going to come out even if you're immediate in action.

    What's the point of having such an expensive sleep tee when the resulting quality is no different than getting a licensed product from Big W or Kmart? If the quality of fabric used does not match the price tag (even on sale), that's you being ripped off. I sure feel like I was.
